The inspirations surrounding my Silverware consist of combining thought and Creativity. Combining function with an element of decoration to create a purposeful aesthetic for the table. I enjoy the challenges of the design process and the development from paper to three-dimensional form. Textures and pattern feature highly in my style, manipulating the surface of the silver with the use of etching, creating the desired look through the chemical process.

The development in my jewellery over the last year features the use of wire. Creating a range that takes on elements of texture through the experimental use of the rolling mill and hammers, transforming the look of a typical ring in a chain. The twisting and bending of the wire creates three-dimensional forms which when link together sit against the body smoothly, enhancing the aesthetic.
