My love for working with textiles began before I went to school in my Gran’s sewing room. Here I began my experiments with any fabrics or yarns I could get my hands on, knitting and sewing to create my ‘masterpieces’.

From this my interest and skill with textiles grew and I graduated with a BA (hons) degree in textiles and surface design in 2005.

During my degree I specialised in knitted textiles and worked a lot with felt and embroidery. My work has always been inspired by using ‘old fashioned’ traditional techniques together with contemporary techniques and materials.

I now design and make knitted and felted textiles accessories that are made to be enjoyed and loved. All of my work begins as just yarn or lambswool and from this I create my pieces using knit, stitch and felting techniques so that I am involved with every stage of the designing and making process.
